Introducing Assignments!
Linkr’s new assignments feature gives class managers a structured way to manage individual assignments from start to finish, without moving outside of their class.
Class managers can provide instructions, describe intended learning outcomes, add a rubric for grading, and schedule key dates. Drafts are saved automatically, so an assignment can be prepared in advance and released to students at a scheduled time.
Follow Progress at a Glance
Once an assignment starts, a dashboard provides a live overview of the class’s progress. Class managers can quickly see whose work is ready to assess, who has not submitted, which submissions have been graded, and which results have been released.
Filters, search, and direct messaging make it easier to follow up with individual class members. If a submission needs more work, it can be sent back with a message so a new version can be submitted.
Grade and Give Feedback in One Place
Each submitted publication is available to assess as soon as it is received. Class managers can enter an overall grade, complete grading with the assignment’s rubric and/or provide private feedback. Results can then be released individually or together.
Grades remain editable while the class's Grades tab brings results from all assignments into one consolidated view.
Keep Clear Records
The assignment dashboard can be exported as a Microsoft Excel report containing submission statuses, timestamps, grades, and release dates. When an assignment is closed, class managers can also download all submitted publications as PDFs in a single ZIP file.
Assignments are available now. Open a class, select Assignments, and choose + New Assignment to get started.
Assignments currently support individual work. Collaborative assignments are coming soon.
